Cyclone relief work at Panithittu village in Pondicherry on November 2008

4 (5)

People living in this village (300 to 400 families) were affected by the heavy rains and cyclones which lashed Pondicherry during the monsoons. Most of them had lost their houses in the flood and were staying in nearby schools and community halls. As they were unable to go to work, they were in need of food. The Trust immediately issued 5 kg of rice to 400 families.
